At a glance I don't think a long term relationship would work, as the 'honeymoon effect' would wear off. Im with a 23 year old, he is about to turn 24 and im 18.
I am 19 and my boyfriend is 25- so the same thing really.
We've been together for 5 months and have never argued.
We were never in a relationship strictly, but i was fascinated by him.
I dont think its too big of an age gap to start with, but i will tell you something - for a man who has seen so much and experienced so much, he may get bored of you quickly.
And one thing that did happen to me, i did get sucked into the drugs, whilst he only smoked weed and ate mushies, his friends did everything from e's to heroin, and i must admit i got pulled into all that.
Never say never when you are hanging around that constantly.
But I just think, are we too different to start a full blown relationship?
It's getting a little more serious now since we've been dating for two months and are still into each other.
Maybe it will work - 'chalk and cheese' relationships sometimes do, you both bring very different qualities to a relationship and it can be a good thing.
Don't write it off because of the age gap, in the end, it's just a number.
We get on really well, and he is the sweetest guy I've ever met.
