This is an extremely powerful application and is a very welcome inclusion to Nokia's S60 software suite.Nokia Search provides a more powerful search functionality than that which is built into in various standard applications. The South Korean company has presented the i8510 at an event held in New York and it has also released press-photos with the handset.
The Internet Search remains a key feature, local search is also supported in select markets.
Rather annoyingly I lost my local search provider when I updated the software.
The in-device search not allows you to search through various categories of data.

Latest firmware update for Nokia N86 8MP is now available for most of the generic product codes but unfortunately it is not available as FOTA update 'Firmware Over The Air' update at the moment and you'll need to connect phone to PC and update it through Nokia Software Updater, and soon Over The Air as well in most regions.
There are no visible changes but as you would imagine, the firmware update but as you would imagine, the firmware update is always recommended as it usually brings improvements in performance and optimizes the functionality of the phone across many applications. In the Contacts application, for example, the search is by first name / last name, but Nokia Search searches across more fields (though in my tests I found it seems to only index one phone number per contact - the most recently entered). Also worth noting is that Nokia Search only indexes full words, thus to search for 0800123456 you would need enter '080012', '123456' would not work (this is really only an issue with number searches). In conclusion, Samsung's Innov8 will be a tough competitor for any of the new high-end mobile phones that came out until now or will come out from now on.Sure, the i8510 does not have a touch-enabled display, but besides this "drawback" the smartphone is inferior to no touchscreen device (theoretically at least). In addition to the previous web and local search functionality the new version now offers more comprehensive in-device search.
